Terms & Conditions

The rules that govern your use of Medaptly — our free content and weekly newsletters.

In plain English

The key points, before the legal detail.

  • By using Medaptly, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
  • Our content is free. Articles, cases, evidence reviews, news, newsletters — all free, no paywalls.
  • Don’t misuse the platform. No scraping, reposting our content as your own, or anything illegal.
  • Content is for clinician education. See the Medical Disclaimer for clinical use limitations.
  • Privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy for what data we collect and how.

01Introduction & Acceptance

Welcome to Medaptly (www.medaptly.com). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, free clinical content, and newsletter subscriptions (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using any part of Medaptly, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. Medaptly is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

02Eligibility & Registration

The Services are intended for use by medical professionals, residents, fellows, and medical students. By using Medaptly, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Minors under 18 cannot register as users on this website.

Accessing free content does not require registration. Newsletter subscriptions require only a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@medaptly.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

03Platform Overview & Service Description

Medaptly operates a medical education platform with two primary pillars:

a) Free clinical content

Medaptly offers articles, clinical cases, evidence reviews, practice updates, and medical news — all free to access without registration. This content is currently available across seven specialties: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Neurology, and Pediatric Neurology. Free content will never be moved behind a paywall.

b) Free weekly newsletters

Each specialty has a dedicated weekly newsletter delivered via email. Newsletters include curated content from the website as well as newsletter-exclusive material such as clinical pearls, quizzes, and real-practice vignettes. Newsletter subscriptions are free and require only an email address. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email.

04Newsletter Sponsorship & Advertising

Medaptly newsletters may, in the future, contain sponsored content from third-party partners. The following principles apply:

  • Transparency: All sponsored content within newsletters is clearly labeled as “Sponsored” or “Brought to you by [Sponsor Name]” so readers can distinguish it from editorial content.
  • Editorial independence: Sponsors have zero influence over Medaptly’s clinical recommendations, editorial decisions, content selection, or any medical information published on the platform.
  • No endorsement: The inclusion of sponsored content does not constitute a clinical endorsement of any product, service, or company by Medaptly.
  • Data protection: Subscriber email addresses and personal data are never shared with sponsors. Sponsors receive only aggregated, anonymized performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click rates).

05Free Content & Newsletter Terms

Free content on Medaptly — including articles, clinical cases, evidence reviews, practice updates, and medical news — is provided for personal educational and clinical reference purposes. You may share links to free content, but you may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute the content itself without written permission.

Newsletter subscriptions are voluntary and free. By subscribing, you consent to receive weekly emails from Medaptly, which may include editorial content and any clearly labeled sponsored content. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in every email or by emailing support@medaptly.com.

Medaptly reserves the right to modify, update, or retire free content at any time to ensure clinical accuracy and relevance. However, free content will never be moved behind a paywall or converted into paid content.

06User Responsibilities

By using Medaptly, you agree that:

  • You will verify clinical information against primary sources before applying it to patient care

  • You will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards in your jurisdiction

08Intellectual Property

All content on Medaptly — including but not limited to articles, clinical cases, evidence reviews, newsletter content, branding, graphics, design elements, and the underlying code — is the property of Medaptly or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any Medaptly content without prior written consent, except for personal educational use and sharing direct links to published content.

Medaptly content may reference or summarize third-party guidelines and literature. Those third-party works remain the intellectual property of their respective owners; our summaries are interpretive and do not replace the original sources.

09User Submissions

If you submit content to us — including feedback, questions, corrections, contributions, or suggestions — you grant Medaptly a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, modify, publish, and incorporate that content in connection with the Services, with or without attribution as appropriate.

You represent that any content you submit is original or that you have the right to grant this license, and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any law.

10Medical & Health Disclaimer

Medaptly provides educational content designed to support learning and clinical reasoning. Medaptly content does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

All clinical decisions should be made by qualified healthcare professionals based on the specific clinical circumstances of each patient. Use of the Services is subject to the limitations described in our separate Medical Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You are responsible for verifying clinical information, exercising professional judgment, and complying with the rules of your jurisdiction and institution when applying any information from Medaptly to patient care.

11Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our separate Privacy Policy, which explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data. By using the Services, you consent to data handling practices described in the Privacy Policy.

12Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date educational materials, we do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of information contained in our Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Medaptly, its owners, contributors, editors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Services. This includes damages arising from clinical decisions, patient outcomes, content errors, or any reliance placed on information published by Medaptly.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if Medaptly has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

13Indemnification & Termination

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Medaptly and its owners, contributors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

Termination. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 08, 12, 13, and 15) will survive.

14OFAC Compliance

We do not provide trading or services to countries sanctioned by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the United States Department of the Treasury. Use of the Services from such jurisdictions is prohibited.

15Modifications to These Terms

These Terms may be updated to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business model. Material changes will be communicated through the website and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of Medaptly after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Users are encouraged to review this page periodically to stay informed of any changes.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
