Terms & Conditions

The rules that govern your use of Medaptly — our free content, weekly newsletters, and paid educational courses.

Last updated: February 2026

Welcome to Medaptly (www.medaptly.com). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website, free clinical content, newsletter subscriptions, sponsored newsletter content, and the purchase of our paid educational courses. By accessing or using any part of Medaptly, you agree to be bound by these terms.

01 Company Information & Governing Law

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is our country of domicile. These Terms and Conditions, and any purchase, dispute, or claim arising out of or in connection with this website, shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the UAE.

02 Platform Overview & Service Description

Medaptly operates a medical education platform with three distinct pillars:

a) Free Clinical Content

Medaptly offers articles, clinical cases, guideline summaries, and medical news — all free to access without registration. This content is available across 6 specialties: Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Neurology, and Family Medicine. Free content will never be moved behind a paywall.

b) Free Weekly Newsletters

Each specialty has a dedicated weekly newsletter delivered via email. Newsletters include curated content from the website as well as newsletter-exclusive material such as clinical pearls, quizzes, and real-practice vignettes. Newsletter subscriptions are free and require only an email address. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email.

c) Paid Educational Courses

Medaptly offers structured exam-preparation courses including OSCE courses and MCQ banks. These are paid products available via subscription. Course descriptions, pricing, and access terms are displayed on each course page prior to purchase.

03 Newsletter Sponsorship & Advertising

Medaptly newsletters may contain sponsored content from third-party partners. The following principles apply:

  • Transparency: All sponsored content within newsletters is clearly labeled as "Sponsored" or "Brought to you by [Sponsor Name]" so readers can distinguish it from editorial content.
  • Editorial independence: Sponsors have zero influence over Medaptly's clinical recommendations, editorial decisions, content selection, or any medical information published on the platform.
  • No endorsement: The inclusion of sponsored content does not constitute a clinical endorsement of any product, service, or company by Medaptly.
  • Data protection: Subscriber email addresses and personal data are never shared with sponsors. Sponsors receive only aggregated, anonymized performance metrics (e.g., open rates, click rates).

04 Accepted Payment Methods and Currency

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Visa Credit and Debit Cards
  • MasterCard Credit and Debit Cards
  • PayPal

All transactions are processed in UAE Dirhams (AED). The displayed price and currency at checkout will be the same as shown on your transaction receipt. The amount charged to your card will appear in your card currency.

05 User Eligibility & Registration

Minors under 18 years old cannot register as users or transact on this website. By using our services, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

Accessing free content does not require registration. Newsletter subscriptions require a valid email address. Purchasing paid courses requires account registration with a valid email address and payment method.

06 User Responsibilities

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their accounts and passwords.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Cardholders must retain copies of transaction records and adhere to merchant policies and rules.
  • You agree not to share, redistribute, or resell course access credentials with third parties.
  • You agree not to use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to extract content from the website or newsletters.

07 Free Content & Newsletter Terms

Free content on Medaptly — including articles, clinical cases, guideline summaries, and medical news — is provided for personal educational and clinical reference purposes. You may share links to free content, but you may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute the content itself without written permission.

Newsletter subscriptions are voluntary and free. By subscribing, you consent to receive weekly emails from Medaptly, which may include editorial content and clearly labeled sponsored content. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Medaptly reserves the right to modify, update, or retire free content at any time to ensure clinical accuracy and relevance. However, free content will never be moved behind a paywall or converted into paid content.

08 Paid Course Terms

Paid courses — including OSCE courses and MCQ banks — are offered via subscription. By purchasing a course, you receive personal access for the duration specified at the time of purchase.

  • Course access is personal and non-transferable.
  • Redistribution, resale, screen recording, or unauthorized sharing of course materials is strictly prohibited.
  • Course content may be updated during your access period to reflect new evidence or guidelines.

09 Intellectual Property

All content on Medaptly — including but not limited to articles, clinical cases, guideline summaries, course materials, newsletter content, branding, and website design — is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any Medaptly content without prior written consent, except for personal educational use and sharing direct links to published content.

10 Medical Disclaimer

Medaptly provides educational content designed to support learning and clinical reasoning. Medaptly content does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

All clinical decisions should be made by qualified healthcare professionals based on the specific clinical circumstances of each patient. Medaptly is not liable for any clinical outcomes resulting from the application of information found on the platform.

11 OFAC Compliance

We do not provide trading or services to countries sanctioned by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the United States Department of the Treasury.

12 Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date educational materials, we do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of information contained in our products. Medaptly shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of free content, newsletters, or paid courses.

13 Modifications to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business model. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of Medaptly after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Customers are encouraged to review this page periodically to stay informed of any changes.
